2020 TLC Ornaments
Each ornament painted represents a TLC child that will receive a new pair of shoes for Christmas.
100% of the proceeds from the sale of these ornament packets go to TLC Christmas fund.
Annual TLC Christmas ornaments
Each year TLC uses the proceeds from the sales of Christmas ornaments painted by our students in Ethiopia to purchase shoes for the 250 children in our program. This year we have reimagined how we can conduct our annual Christmas fundraiser despite restrictions due to COVID-19.
We have partnered with our long time supporters at Love Sings Louder to continue our ornament tradition in a creative and exciting format.
Enter our new idea for 2020.... why not have sponsors and supporters here in the US paint ornaments to send to the children in Ethiopia? and why not use a "paint party" set-up to gather safe, small groups of friends or family to spend an hour painting ornaments and hearing about ministry of TLC?
hosting a 2020 ornament event
We need to find "hosts" for these parties, whether it be people who are interested in having a coffee and dessert night on their back patio, or maybe a Sunday school teacher who may want to do this as an actual church event.
For the cost of $30 per guest, each participant would receive a packet with all of the supplies needed to complete two Christmas ornaments: one to keep and one to give to a TLC child. But not only that, their $30 donation would purchase shoes for a TLC child!
Hosts will receive a box full of all the supplies for the ornament project, as well as information about the work and ministry of TLC for each participant. It is an excellent way to introduce new people to the work God is doing in Ethiopia.
